CCRB Featured Teacher
Alma, Samantha and Josie Clements
Alma teaches your 4 and 5 year olds on Sundays. She has been teaching at Calvary Chapel for 18 months. "I love seeing God's little creations come into the classroom each week!", Alma said. She marvels at their simple faith and openness to Jesus and the Bible. Alma...we're blessed to have you!
Ministry to the children (4 years old - Jr. High) is provided each Sunday, and during Wednesday 7PM service. Infant and toddler car (up to age 4) is provided during the Sunday and Wednesday services.
WORSHIP
All children will go directly to their classrooms and have worship time together.
NURSERY & TODDLERS
It is important for the safety of your children that the adult that signs the child in, is the same adult that signs the child out. We ask that you pay attention to the numerical LCD panels in the Chapel. If your child's number (from the check-in tag) should be displayed we ask that you respond promptly so as not to disrupt the class more than necessary. Children can often get anxious when they see other children picked up, so please be prompt in picking up your child at the end of the service. If your child has special needs please note them on the sign-in sheet. It is helpful to have any belongings labeled.
FOUR AND FIVE YEAR OLDS
Bible stories, crafts, music, and playing are some of the things these children can look forward to. Teachers also begin teaching children to sit during the story and worship time and to pray before snacks. Our goal is that they receive loving care and a sense of trust upon which to build their future concepts of God.
KINDERGARTEN - SIXTH GRADE
Children should be taken directly to their classroom prior to service starting. It works best if you take your child to the restroom before signing them in. If you sign them in...YOU sign them out. K-6th children will gather together for worship and then go to their classrooms for prayer, activities, and Bible time. We also offer a 5-day devotional that you can do throughout the week with your child that relates to the current lesson. If interested, please request the devotional from your child's teacher.
JUNIOR HIGH
Bible study, prayer, and activities focused on strengthening their knowledge and foundation of Jesus Christ, giving them a desire to share their faith with others.
