The Calvary Chapel movement is an international move of the Spirit to spread fellowships based on "The Spirit of God using the Word of God to change the people of God". The man God has raised up to begin this movement is Pastor Chuck Smith. Pastor Chuck (as he is affectionately referred to by many) would be the first to deflect any credit from himself to His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pastor Chuck has sought to model ministry after the servanthood of Jesus. He has written a number of books and pamphlets laying out what he has learned in his many years of ministry and Bible teaching.
